Overall, the season runs from January to somewhere in October when the harvest takes place and the work in the winery starts. Weather or no weather, everything has to happen throughout the season.
JanuaryThe vineyard is at rest. |

FebruaryRemove and prune branches. This is a meticulous work that lays the foundation for optimum yield in the coming season. This operation makes the grapes sweeter and improves the quality of the wine. MarchFertilizing the soil. |

AprilBending and leading the vines. Every stick is different and requires a lot of thinking. |

MayBrush trunks (remove runners), remove weeds, stretch wires. Prepare everything for growth. |

JuniRemove duplicate shoots. 8 to 10 shoots may be added to a vine for an optimal foliage wall. |

June/JulyTying the deciduous wall between the double threads so that there are no densities. |

JulyCapping of the deciduous wall is done mechanically (top and sides). Prune the leaves to give the grapes as much sun as possible for optimum ripening. |

AugustThin clusters. Remove every 3rd bunch of offshoots and bunches that lag behind in growth. SeptemberCheck vineyard well for diseases, rot, insects, birds. |

September/OctoberPerform measurements on the different varieties of Oe, Ph, acid. |

OctoberHarvesting the grapes takes place on different days because not all varieties are ripe on the same days. |

November/DecemberVisit the winery. There, people look at, smell and taste the compositions of the different wines. |
